Wosport Charge MPLS Illumination — TAN

The Wosport Charge MPLS is a compact multi-colour light designed for helmet mounting, compatible with both Picatinny rails and velcro surfaces. Built for operators and outdoor users who need hands-free illumination in low-light conditions, it combines five lighting modes in a compact body controlled by a single push button.

The five modes — red, green, white, IR and off — cover different use scenarios through sequential activation: one button handles everything, which reduces the risk of errors when wearing gloves. Red and green preserve dark adaptation and limit light signature; white provides general illumination; the IR channel is compatible with night vision devices and can be activated directly from the off position, without cycling through the other modes.

The light runs on a CR123A battery (not included), a format widely used in professional and outdoor settings for its voltage stability and long shelf life. The body is made from impact-resistant material suited to the daily handling typical of field kit. The large-surface button is reachable even in reduced visibility or when fully kitted up. The trade-off to consider is the one inherent to single-control helmet lights: the operational simplicity is an advantage under stress, but those who prefer direct, immediate access to each individual mode in a single action will find a rotating selector or multi-button torch more intuitive.
