Wosport WST Charge MPLS Helmet Light — Black

The WST Charge MPLS is a multi-mode helmet-mounted light designed for operators who need both hands free and cannot stop to manage their illumination. It attaches to the helmet's NVG rail or to a hook-and-loop panel and delivers four output modes — white, red, green and infrared — from a compact body operated by a single button. Power comes from two CR123A batteries (not included).

The control sequence is designed to reduce the chance of errors in the dark: a short press activates red, two short presses activate green, a long press while a colour mode is already on switches to white, and a long press from off activates infrared. Red and green preserve night-adapted vision and limit lateral light signature: these are the right choices when moving in low-light environments without wanting to give away your position. White is there when you need immediate illumination power, with no trade-offs. The IR channel is only usable in combination with a night-vision device, as it is invisible to the naked eye.

The high-resistance polymer body keeps weight low on the helmet, where every extra gram translates into neck fatigue during extended sessions. The oversized button is designed to be found and pressed even with winter gloves or with the non-dominant hand, without having to look down. Keeping a single control source for all modes simplifies operation, but requires the user to learn the sequence: anyone unfamiliar with multi-mode logic should spend a few minutes practising before taking the light into the field.
