The Snugpak Jungle Blanket is a compressible insulating blanket designed for those who operate or move in environments where weight and bulk matter as much as warmth retention. The standard version weighs 700 g and the Extra Large version 900 g — figures that place it at the lighter end of the spectrum for a fully synthetic-insulated blanket.

The Micro Diamond outer shell resists wind and sheds surface moisture, protecting the insulation even in light rain or heavy dew. The Travelsoft insulation is engineered to recover its loft after compression in the included stuff sack: anyone carrying the blanket packed down for hours in a rucksack does not have to wait for it to slowly expand before use. The inner Paratex fabric carries an antibacterial and antimicrobial treatment — a detail that becomes relevant during extended bivouacs or in situations where regular washing is not practical.

This is a blanket, not a sleeping bag: it has no perimeter zip and no differentiated insulation between the top and bottom panels.
