Night Evolution MPLS 2 Torch — Dark Earth / Red

The Night Evolution MPLS 2 is a compact modular light designed for use on tactical gear and helmets. Powered by 2 CR2016 batteries, it outputs both visible red light and IR, making it compatible with night vision devices. Its low profile allows discreet integration on MOLLE systems, Picatinny rails, MICH helmets and helmet rails without adding significant bulk.

The dual output — red LED and IR LED — addresses two distinct needs: red light preserves dark adaptation during night operations without NV equipment, while IR remains invisible to the naked eye and becomes the primary source when working with night vision devices. Having both in a single module removes the need to carry multiple light sources.

Push-button activation allows immediate operation even with gloves on. Compatibility with four different mounting systems — MOLLE, Picatinny, MICH Helmet Rail and Helmet Rail — makes the MPLS 2 transferable between a weapon, tactical vest and helmet without additional tools; the flip side of that flexibility is that multiple mounts increase the number of components to keep track of and not lose in the field.
