Kicking Mustang KMCS Pack Cover 3D Leaves XL — Next-Gen Green

The KMCS Pack Cover with 3D Leaves in size XL is a camouflage cover for large rucksacks — designed for those who need to stay concealed even while moving with a full load on their back. Size XL fits bulky rucksacks or loadouts of around 35 litres with a bivouac mat attached externally.

The cover is made from the same polyester-cotton blend used for the KMCS line's ghillie suits — a functional choice, not an aesthetic one. The fabric structure interacts with light unevenly, reducing the flat reflections that betray artificial surfaces. The three-dimensional leaves stitched onto the fabric break up the rucksack's silhouette, eliminating the regular shadows that signal an unnatural object even in dense vegetation. This is precisely what sets it apart from a plain solid-colour cover: a flat pattern fools the eye under stable lighting, but volumetric shadows do the same even when the light changes direction.

The elasticated hem and adjustment drawcord ensure the cover stays put during movement through wooded or scrubby terrain, where snagging is a genuine risk. Two retention straps — one diagonal, one vertical — hold the pack cover in place even if it catches on branches or other obstacles. The design allows the addition of natural vegetation or artificial foliage systems to tailor the camouflage to the specific terrain: the KMCS fabric is compatible with the insertion of elements such as dry grass, twigs or synthetic foliage. It is worth noting that this scope for customisation requires the user to actively manage the weight of any added vegetation — too much concentrated weight can affect the grip of the elasticated hem on rucksacks with an irregular shape.

Key features

• The three-dimensional leaves break up the rucksack's silhouette and reduce the regular shadows that reveal your presence even in dense vegetation.
• The polyester-cotton blend fabric is the same as in KMCS ghillie suits: it interacts with light naturally rather than producing flat reflections.
• Elasticated hem, adjustment drawcord and two retention straps (diagonal and vertical) keep the cover stable even on rough terrain where snagging is a risk.
• Size XL covers bulky rucksacks or loadouts of around 35 litres with an external bivouac mat, without restricting access to the shoulder straps or side pockets.
• The fabric is ready for the addition of natural vegetation or synthetic foliage, allowing the camouflage to be adapted to the operational terrain at any given time.
