Rucksack Cover Kicking Mustang KMCS Pack Cover 3D Leaves XL — Next-Gen Brown

The KMCS Pack Cover with 3D Leaves in size XL is designed for those who operate in open terrain carrying a rucksack and cannot afford to have their kit's profile give away their position. The three-dimensional leaf structure breaks the rectangular outline of the pack and disperses the cast shadows that, on flat surfaces, are immediately recognisable even at distance. The XL size is dimensioned for large-volume rucksacks or for rucksacks of approximately 35 litres with a sleeping mat attached externally.

The fabric is the same as that used for the KMCS ghillie suit: a polyester-cotton blend with a surface structure that interacts with light unevenly, avoiding the uniform reflections typical of smooth synthetic materials. This choice involves a trade-off worth considering: the material is heavier and less compact than a lightweight nylon cover, but delivers a noticeably more natural optical response in low diffuse light conditions — dawn, dusk, overcast sky — where monochrome surfaces are unmasked more easily.

The attachment system combines a perimeter elasticated edge, a drawcord and two securing straps — one diagonal and one vertical — which keep the cover in place even when snagged by vegetation during movement. The 3D leaf structure is ready for the addition of natural vegetation or supplementary camouflage materials: branches, grass and artificial materials can be woven directly into the fabric without modification. The Next-Gen Brown colourway suits mixed woodland environments and terrain with dry or leaf-fall undergrowth.

Key Features

• Three-dimensional leaves break the pack's profile and disperse the cast shadows that would make the rucksack recognisable even at distance.
• The polyester-cotton blend fabric of the KMCS ghillie suit produces an irregular optical response, reducing uniform reflections on synthetic surfaces.
• Two securing straps — diagonal and vertical — keep the cover in position even when moving through dense vegetation.
• The leaf structure allows natural vegetation or artificial materials to be added to adapt the camouflage to specific terrain.
• XL size suited to large-volume rucksacks or configurations with a sleeping mat attached externally.
