Multi-Tool Nite Ize DoohicKey Key Tool — Black

The Nite Ize DoohicKey is a pocket-sized stainless steel multi-tool designed for those who want six functions in an object measuring 64.8 x 17.2 x 2.5 mm and weighing 12 grams, ready to clip directly onto a key ring or a rucksack zip.

The flat profile with no protruding parts is a deliberate design choice: nothing snags in a pocket or scrapes against other items. The integrated carabiner profile doubles as a nut wrench, with a shaped opening compatible with both metric and imperial sizes, while a metric ruler in centimetres is machined into the side opposite the wire-gate closure. The combination of bottle opener, flat-head screwdriver and hook cutter covers most everyday practical needs without adding bulk.

It is worth being clear about the main trade-off: the ultra-slim profile delivers absolute portability, but it makes the DoohicKey suited to light, occasional tasks rather than prolonged work requiring sustained grip and torque. Anyone needing structural robustness in demanding situations should pair it with a full-sized knife or multi-tool. For everyday carry as an emergency tool or key ring companion, the weight-to-bulk-to-functionality ratio is hard to match at this size.

Key features

• Six functions in 12 grams: the weight goes unnoticed even after months on a key ring.
• The carabiner with wire-gate closure stays firmly on the ring with no risk of accidental release.
• The dual opening for metric and imperial nuts handles bolts and fasteners without carrying a separate spanner.
• TSA-compliant: no issues carrying it in cabin baggage during travel.
• The hook cutter opens packaging and liquid containers without exposing a visible blade.
• Built entirely from stainless steel: corrosion-proof and maintenance-free.
