The TT Dump Pouch for Empty Magazines is a spent magazine dump pouch made by Tasmanian Tiger from 420 HD nylon. It weighs 120 g and, when open, offers a main compartment of 21x20 cm capable of holding 4 to 6 rifle magazines depending on calibre, freeing the shooter from having to manage empty magazines during operations.
The MOLLE/PALS attachment system allows the pouch to be mounted on plate carriers, chest rigs or compatible belts. Position adjustment in the field is quick and requires no tools. When not in use, the pouch folds flat against the kit, keeping it out of the way during movement.
The open-top design lets you drop empty magazines in with one hand without operating any fasteners or closures — a genuine advantage when time is short. The trade-off is that retention relies entirely on the volume of contents: the pouch holds well when partially full, but a single magazine in an open dump pouch can work its way out during more abrupt movements. Those operating in contexts requiring absolute retention security may want to add an external retention elastic.
