Targets and training
Targets, silhouettes and tools for dry-fire and range training.
What you train without shooting
The part of training that delivers the most results is also the most neglected: drawing, magazine changes, malfunction drills, dry firing. These are skills built through repetition, and at the range they are sacrificed in favour of live fire.
Dummy rounds allow safe practice: they match the shape and weight of a live cartridge but contain no primer, powder or projectile, and the silicone primer cushions the strike of the firing pin. They must be kept strictly separate from live ammunition, which is why they are made in unmistakable colours.
Targets are chosen based on what you want to measure: a silhouette for defensive shooting, a zoned target for precision work, a reactive one for immediate feedback without having to check after every string.
