The type of weapon comes before the system

The choice starts with the role: an assault rifle for general use, a submachine gun in confined spaces, a precision rifle for distance, a pistol as a secondary weapon.

Only then comes the propulsion system, which is a trade-off between performance and management. Electric provides consistent firing and autonomy, with no sensitivity to cold. Gas delivers recoil and realistic bolt operation, but loses pressure at low temperatures. Spring depends on nothing and must be re-cocked after every shot: it is the system used in bolt-action precision rifles.

What you need beyond the replica

A replica without spare magazines lasts one game. Consumables — BBs and gas — must be chosen in line with the replica: BB weight affects accuracy as much as the hop-up. For maintenance and upgrades, spare parts are available.
