Nuprol 3.0 Green Gas

Nuprol 3.0 is a propellant gas canister containing 300 g net (total weight 504 g), formulated for airsoft use with integrated silicone lubricant. It is intended for low-temperature conditions, specifically in the 3–10 °C range, where standard gases lose pressure and make GBB systems unreliable.

The silicone suspended in the mixture lubricates internal components — valves, piston and bucking — with every magazine fill, eliminating the need for separate oiling. The trade-off to understand is this: a gas formulated for cold weather operates at a lower working pressure than high-performance gases such as 4.0 or 5.0. This makes it suitable for replicas with polymer components or those sensitive to overpressure, but it also means slightly lower BB velocity on warm days. Anyone operating mainly in cold conditions will find this gas offers a practical balance between smooth cycling and controlled pressure.

The canister is 27 cm tall and 7.5 cm in diameter, with an internal pressure of 13.5 bar. The canister is not refillable. Note: this gas is not compatible with Japanese-made replicas (Marui, KSC, Maruzen, Marushin, Tanaka and similar).
