Delta Armory M4 CQB-R Charlie Airsoft Gun — Tan — Black

The Delta Armory M4 CQB-R Charlie is an M4-style airsoft gun with a retractable stock and short barrel, designed for players who want a compact, ready-to-use platform for CQB and indoor skirmishes. Overall length varies between 700 mm and 785 mm depending on stock position, with a weight of 2480 g that places it in the mid-range among compact airsoft guns.

The internal system features a version 2 gearbox with quick spring change (QSC), 14-tooth piston and 7 mm metal bearings: the combination delivers smoother cycling than bushing systems and reduces wear for the same number of cycles. The spring guide is metal, while the piston, nozzle and hop-up chamber are plastic — a choice that keeps overall weight down but suggests replacing these parts for anyone planning to fit a progressive spring or run the gun on an 11.1 V battery. The manufacturer warns that an 11.1 V battery requires a MOSFET or ETU unit, neither of which is included: without one, there is a real risk of burning out the trigger contacts. With the recommended 7.4 V battery the system runs without any modification.

The gun delivers a muzzle velocity of 115 m/s and performs best with BBs weighing 0.25 g to 0.28 g. The 275 mm inner barrel and 14 mm left-hand thread at the muzzle allow the fitting of suppressors and muzzle devices compatible with the M14– standard. The RIS/Picatinny rail on the upper receiver and on the side and lower rails lets you add accessories without modifying the body. The plastic mid-cap magazine holds 120 BBs and requires no winding during use, unlike hi-caps: the benefit is silent operation, the drawback is more frequent reloads during intensive games. The battery is housed in the buffer tube and connects via a mini Tamiya connector; it is not included.

Key features

• Adjustable length between 700 and 785 mm thanks to the retractable stock: suitable for tight-space engagements without sacrificing a usable sight picture.
• V2 QSC gearbox with 7 mm metal bearings: smoother cycling and reduced wear compared to standard bushings.
• 14 mm left-hand thread and RIS/Picatinny rail: ready for suppressors, optics and accessories with no additional adaptors.
• Mid-cap magazine with 120 BBs: silent in use, ideal for players who want to avoid hi-cap rattle on the move.
• Compatible with buffer-tube stick battery: no modifications needed to house the battery, but 11.1 V requires an external MOSFET purchased separately.
• Regular maintenance of the inner barrel and hop-up bucking is recommended by the manufacturer for long-term reliability.
