The Delta Armory M4 CQB-R Charlie is a short-barrelled AEG built on the AR15 platform, designed for anyone looking for a compact, ready-to-run setup for close-quarters engagements. Overall length runs from 700 mm to 785 mm with the stock extended, and it weighs 2480 g, keeping bulk to a minimum without giving up the grip and stability typical of M4 platforms. The inner barrel measures 275 mm, consistent with the CQB brief.

The core of the AEG is a V2 gearbox with a QSC system, 7 mm metal-bushing gears and a piston with 14 teeth. The spring guide is metal, while the piston head and nozzle are plastic — a common choice at this price point that keeps weight down and makes worn parts straightforward to replace. The body and receiver are ABS: lighter than aluminium but more susceptible to direct impacts. Fine for regular sporting use; more care is needed under intensive use or extreme temperatures. Muzzle velocity is 115 m/s, with 0.25 g to 0.28 g BBs recommended for a good balance of trajectory and accuracy at typical CQB distances.

Power comes from a stick battery in the buffer tube via a Small Tamiya connector. Battery not included. The system has no MOSFET or electronic control unit: if you intend to run an 11.1 V LiPo battery, fit a MOSFET or ETU before use to protect the trigger contacts. The plastic hop-up chamber is adjustable; the included plastic mid-cap magazine holds 120 BBs and feeds silently compared to hi-cap wind-up magazines, though you will need to carry several in the field. The barrel is threaded 14 mm CCW, compatible with most suppressors and flash hiders made for airsoft replicas.
