Vector Optics

The Vector Optics VAS X-MOD 45° offset adapter is a metal Picatinny rail accessory designed for shooters who run a primary optic on the top rail and need to mount a secondary accessory — red dot, light, or laser — rotated 45° from the main axis, ready to use with a simple cant of the rifle.

The 45° geometry keeps the primary optic's sight picture completely unobstructed: transitioning to the secondary only requires tilting the rifle, without shifting the hands from their firing position. This is particularly useful for dynamic shooters and operators who alternate between distance engagements with a variable optic and close-quarters engagements with a compact dot.

The metal construction handles recoil on demanding calibre platforms, while the screw-mount system ensures the mounted accessory holds its zero and position through extended shooting sessions. The compact profile adds no unnecessary bulk to the setup and clears standard-length guards and handguards without interference.

VAS

Vector Accessory System: riser adapters and modular plates for red dots.

VAS, Vector Accessory System, is Vector Optics' modular mounting system. The base attaches to a Picatinny rail and the upper interface accepts interchangeable adapters for different red dot footprints — MGT, GIN, RMSc — without having to replace the base when changing optics.

Raised adapters are available at 38, 49 and 57 mm. The taller heights are designed to align the optic with the natural eye position when wearing a helmet with a night vision device or a protective mask: raising the red dot eliminates the need to lower the head down to the stock, a posture that is not always practical when wearing a helmet.
