The Vector Optics VAS adapter for MGT mount is an interface component designed for shooters who need to fit optics or accessories with an MGT footprint onto VAS-geometry mounts, while maintaining alignment and stability under recoil.

Compatibility between different mounting systems is often the bottleneck in custom builds: this adapter solves the problem at the source, removing the need to replace the entire mounting base. The metal construction provides recoil resistance on demanding calibres, holding zero over repeated use without shift.

The MGT footprint is used by several high-magnification optics in the Vector Optics line: having the VAS adapter allows optics to be swapped between different platforms without additional tools, speeding up configuration changes in the field or on the firing line.

Vector Accessory System: riser adapters and modular plates for red dots.

VAS, Vector Accessory System, is Vector Optics' modular mounting system. The base attaches to a Picatinny rail and the upper interface accepts interchangeable adapters for different red dot footprints — MGT, GIN, RMSc — without having to replace the base when changing optics.

Raised adapters are available at 38, 49 and 57 mm. The taller heights are designed to align the optic with the natural eye position when wearing a helmet with a night vision device or a protective mask: raising the red dot eliminates the need to lower the head down to the stock, a posture that is not always practical when wearing a helmet.
