Vector Optics Tauron 1-6x24 Gen II SFP Rifle Scope — Matte Black

The Tauron 1-6x24 Gen II is a Vector Optics LPVO with a 30 mm tube, second focal plane, and 1-6x variable magnification, designed for shooters who need a single optic for both close-quarters and mid-range work. The linear field of view at 100 m ranges from 35 m at 1× to 6 m at 6×, covering everything from dynamic shooting on the move to precision work at demanding distances.

The VTC-SMIL reticle sits on the second focal plane and features a 0.25 MIL centre dot that provides a precise aiming point out to 200 m, complemented by BDC marks for rapid holdover beyond that range. At 1× the scope allows both-eyes-open shooting, removing the target-to-optic transition associated with dedicated red dots. The red illumination offers 6 brightness levels managed by a dedicated on/off switch, so the reticle can be switched off without cycling through all settings. Locking turrets prevent accidental zero shift during transport and field use, while the ≥ 60 MIL total travel per axis — made possible by the 30 mm tube — provides ample adjustment range even on platforms where the mechanical zero sits well off centre.

The 100 mm eye relief keeps the ocular lens at a safe distance from the shooter's brow even with hard-recoiling calibres, and the −2 to +2 dioptre adjustment allows reticle focus without additional optical correction. The body is machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminium alloy, nitrogen-purged to prevent internal fogging, rated IP67 against water and dust, and shock-tested to 1000 G. At 537 g and 264 mm overall length, the Tauron Gen II occupies a compact footprint without compromising operational capability.
