Vector Optics SNAP CAP training rounds in 9x19 mm are inert dummy rounds designed for dry fire practice, trigger control work, and malfunction drill procedures with pistols and carbines chambered in 9 mm Luger. Dimensionally identical to a live round, they feed and extract exactly like real ammunition, keeping every dry fire session true to an operational context.
The aluminium alloy construction with a red anodized finish offers two practical advantages: the low weight of 5 grams per round does not alter the feel of magazine balance during loading and presentation drills, while the bright red colour makes them instantly distinguishable from live ammunition, removing any ambiguity when handling the firearm in a training room or at home. The anodized finish protects the aluminium from the mechanical wear produced by repeated chamber and extraction cycles.
Packaged in sets of 6, these SNAP CAPs allow you to fill a standard magazine for feed, malfunction, and press-check drills without using live rounds. Having six rounds also allows you to simulate stoppages at varying positions within the magazine, increasing the range and quality of training sessions.
