Vector Optics

The Rum High Cantilever is a Vector Optics cantilever riser mount designed to bring red dot sights to the co-witness height on AR-platform rifles with fixed stocks or raised butt stocks, eliminating the need for multiple adapters or aftermarket stocks. The integrated Picatinny rail on top accepts any red dot with a standard footprint.

The cantilever profile shifts the anchor point toward the shooter, so the eye reaches the sight in the natural cheek-weld position without any postural compromise. The full-machined aluminium body provides recoil resistance on rifle-calibre platforms without the clamping screw loosening over time, maintaining return-to-zero after removal and remounting.

The riser height is calculated to place the optical centre of the red dot approximately 35 mm above the receiver rail, a height compatible with BUIS co-witness iron sights in absolute or lower-third co-witness configuration depending on the optic mounted. The butterfly nut with locking lever allows the mount to be tightened and loosened without tools, useful in the field for quick transfers between platforms.
