Metal grommets running along the entire perimeter allow it to be pitched as an emergency shelter between trees or fixed anchor points, adding a tactical function that goes well beyond a simple rain garment.

The waterproof ripstop nylon construction provides a reliable barrier against rain, but it is the combination of a drawcord-adjustable hood and press-stud fastenings on both sides that defines its operational versatility: the press studs allow it to be shaped around the arms to retain warmth and limit fabric movement in the wind, while the drawcord lets you cinch the hood close around the face to protect the field of view.
