The UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) by Helikon-Tex are short-leg shorts with a 28 cm inseam in PolyCotton Ripstop fabric, designed for those who need to carry EDC or tactical gear while maintaining a visually neutral profile in urban environments or during summer duty. The cotton-polyester blend balances breathability with abrasion resistance, while the ripstop weave prevents tears from spreading.
The waistband combines an internal elastic with a velcro closure to fit the waist without requiring a belt, but the 50 mm belt loops allow mounting EDC, UTL or Cobra belts when the load demands it. The jeans-style contoured rear cut keeps the shorts in place during rapid movement or changes in posture — a detail that separates a garment designed for active use from one that merely looks tactical.
