The UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) by Helikon-Tex are tactical shorts with a 28 cm inseam made from stretch denim, designed for those who need full operational capability during warmer seasons. The classic jeans-inspired cut and pocket layout give them a neutral enough appearance that the gear they can carry isn't immediately obvious.

The elasticated waistband with velcro closure allows fine fit adjustment without tools, while the 50 mm belt loops are sized to accept EDC, UTL or Cobra belts without adapters. The rear "cinch" shape, typical of jeans construction, keeps the shorts in place during fast movement or when wearing heavy kit on the waist — a detail that is often missing from conventional tactical shorts.

The two front pockets with velcro closure have enough volume for a smartphone or an AR/AK magazine; the zip pockets on the thighs sit flat but conceal useful capacity for a wallet or accessories.
