The Helikon-Tex Utility Light Shorts are technical shorts built for training sessions and hot days where freedom of movement is non-negotiable. The VersaStretch Lite fabric stretches in four directions and provides a fit that moves with the body without binding, with an adjustable drawstring waist and belt loops up to 50 mm wide.

VersaStretch Lite is a lightweight fabric engineered to give in every direction: in practice, no position — squatting, kneeling, running — creates tension in the fabric or restricts the hem. The open weave structure promotes airflow even during prolonged effort, when a stiff or tightly woven fabric starts causing heat problems before it causes mechanical ones.

Pocket management is where this garment finds its balance: six compartments in total, of which three are zipped (two front, one rear) to secure documents, keys and small items during vigorous movement, plus two open side pockets for quick access and a dedicated internal key pocket. Zipped pockets secure contents better than open ones, but slow down retrieval: the combination of both types lets you decide based on what you're carrying and how quickly you need to reach it.
