The Training Mini Rig (TMR) is a minimalist harness chest rig designed for shooting instructors, sport shooters, and dynamic shooters who spend long sessions at the range and need to carry the essentials without the bulk of a full system. The symmetrical layout is optimised for a basic load: magazines, spare ammunition, a multi-tool, a torch, range gear — nothing unnecessary.

The core of the TMR is the main pocket with internal organiser and a zippered mesh pocket, flanked by two integrated AR/AK magazine inserts and four fixed side pockets with removable flaps for pistol magazines, a multi-tool, or a torch. The retention bungees are adjustable with position indicators, letting you dial in retention for the magazine in use without having to re-set it by feel each time. That matters when you switch calibres or go from AR to AK within the same session.

The trade-off to understand before choosing this rig: the minimalist design with an adjustable H-harness and adjustable side belt delivers freedom of movement and fast donning, but capacity is intentionally limited. Anyone needing space for hydration, a radio, or a large medical pouch will find a plate carrier or a full tactical vest more suitable. The TMR works for those who want to run light and access magazines quickly, with a front MOLLE/PALS panel for a compact medical insert and a lower MOLLE/PALS panel for a tourniquet or additional accessories. Three hook-and-loop panels — on the main pocket, the detachable accessory pocket, and the back of the mount — expand customisation options without adding fixed structure.
