Helikon-Tex Summit Backpack — Shadow Grey

The Summit is a hiking and outdoor pack with a volume of 40 litres and dimensions of 55x31x20 cm, built for carrying what you need without unnecessary weight on your back. At an empty weight of 1 300 g — less than a full field bottle — it suits those covering demanding trails, conducting operations in natural environments, or needing a capable, compact day pack.

Access to the main compartment works on two levels: the upper rolltop lets you adjust volume and seals the contents even in rain, while the front vertical zip lets you reach the bottom of the pack without unloading from the top. This dual system is more flexible than a simple lid, but requires closing both openings before moving off — one extra step compared to a single-zip pack, offset by the loading versatility it provides.

The 10 mm MOLLE Lite webbing on the sides lets you attach MOLLE/PALS-compatible pouches and expand carry capacity without switching packs. The elastic mesh beavertail on the front panel is sized to secure a helmet or bulky garment on the outside, keeping the main compartment free. The shaped hipbelt, with two zippered mesh pockets, transfers load to the hips and keeps frequently used items within reach while on the move.
