Empty weight is 1300 g — just over a full water bottle — placing it in the structured day-pack category, suited to demanding trekking days, operators on extended movement, and shooters moving between positions.

The main structural feature is dual access to the main compartment: the rolltop closure allows you to adjust internal volume and seals the contents effectively in rain or dusty conditions, while the vertical front zip lets you reach the bottom of the pack without unloading from the top. This hybrid system is more versatile than a pure rolltop, but it does mean the front zip needs to be kept in good condition over time — that is where preventive maintenance should be focused. YKK zippers on all openings deliver consistent performance in dust and moisture.

The outer shell is made from 100% Cordura nylon, a fabric that balances abrasion resistance and weight better than standard polyester. The elastic mesh beavertail on the front panel is sized to secure a helmet or a bulky winter jacket without extra straps; the two mesh side pockets take a water bottle or an extra layer of clothing. The 10 mm MOLLE Lite webbing on the sides lets you expand carrying capacity with MOLLE/PALS-compatible pouches, adapting the system to the day's task. The contoured hip belt, with two mesh zip pockets, transfers part of the load onto the hips and takes pressure off the shoulders on longer stretches.
