The SFU Next Mk2 are tactical trousers in stretch ripstop fabric made from 48% cotton, 50% polyester and 2% elastane, designed for those who spend hours moving across demanding terrain and need full freedom of movement without sacrificing abrasion resistance. The cut has been redesigned from the previous version along a straighter, more structured line that works better for operational use and for wearing equipment over the trousers.

The elastane in the fabric composition is the central feature of this product: on a traditional ripstop the fabric resists tearing but restricts wide movements such as kneeling, climbing into vehicles or dropping into a shooting position. The stretch component removes that constraint while keeping the fabric's durability intact. The inner lining in 90% polyester and 10% cotton reduces friction against the skin and improves thermal management in the mid-temperature range, without adding meaningful weight.

The pocket layout is worth examining before purchase: the large side cargo pockets with velcro closure offer useful volume but require a deliberate action to open, meaning the contents are secured during running and climbing but cannot be accessed quickly with one hand. The two front bellows pockets are sized to hold most current smartphones securely. The shaped knee reinforcements also serve as pockets for inserting internal rigid pads, turning a structural detail into a practical feature.
