The BugLit Rechargeable Microlight is a compact four-legged flexible torch designed for anyone who needs a hands-free work light within reach at all times, able to grip any surface and hold its position without occupying both hands. With an output of 12 lumens and four lighting modes, it covers everything from close reading to night vision preservation.

The four silicone legs use Nite Ize's Gear Tie technology: they bend, wrap and lock around branches, straps, handles and zips without any additional clips. This makes the torch practical in situations where both hands must stay free — night navigation, gear inspection, bivouac — but it also means that retention relies on leg tension rather than a rigid mechanical attachment: on very smooth surfaces or under heavy vibration it is less secure than a clip-mount torch.

On high output the runtime is 4 hours 30 minutes; switching to low mode extends this to 26 hours, making it a credible emergency light for a field kit.
