The RAT Concealed Carry Waist Pack is a tactical waist pack designed for everyday concealed carry. Its overall shallow depth keeps it flat against the hip and prevents any telltale printing under an open jacket. Weighing 287 g, it suits those who carry a handgun discreetly or want a capable EDC setup without bulk.

The full-opening rear compartment is the core of the system: two anti-slip side pulls open the pocket completely, revealing soft hook-and-loop panels on both sides that accept the Helikon-Tex pistol insert (sold separately). This gives fast access and a secure grip on the firearm, but the zip must be opened before drawing — this is not a quick-release holster and is not intended to replace one. Choosing this pack means prioritising concealment over draw speed.

The removable rigid panel, with pass-through holes and a rubber bungee cord, lets you organise gear that needs to be readily at hand — a compact first-aid kit, a torch, a tourniquet — without it shifting to the bottom during movement. The system is completed by the centre pocket, which includes a zip mesh compartment and a soft hook-and-loop panel, and a flat front pocket for documents or frequently used items. Dual-slider zips on the main compartments let you choose the opening side to match your dominant hand.
