Baofeng AR-152 VHF/UHF Radio

The AR-152 is a Baofeng dual-band handheld transceiver operating on VHF (136–174 MHz) and UHF (400–520 MHz). With a 25 cm antenna and a 12,000 mAh lithium-ion battery, it is designed for operators who need extended range time and wide-band coverage without carrying multiple devices.

Transmit power is selectable between 5 W, 2 W and 1 W: 5 W for maximum range, 1 W to reduce power draw when distance allows. A bank of 128 stored channels, combined with selectable tuning steps of 2.5 / 5 / 6.25 / 10 / 12.5 / 25 / 50 kHz, covers PMR, LPD and local repeater frequencies without reprogramming each time. Signal processing is handled by a DSP with adjustable squelch, 50 CTCSS tones and 104 DCS codes for filtering traffic on shared channels.

Dual standby lets you monitor two frequencies simultaneously: when traffic appears on either channel, the radio signals it and switches automatically. The VOX function with 10 sensitivity levels keeps your hands free during operations requiring movement. The earpiece connector is compatible with the standard two-pin Kenwood layout, making the radio compatible with most tactical headsets and PTT devices on the market. The antenna connector is SMA male. An integrated high-output torch rounds out the feature set for use in low-light conditions. Use of VHF and UHF bands outside licence-free frequencies requires the appropriate authorisation: check current regulations before transmitting.
