The Paraframe I is a lightweight, open-frame folding knife with a high-carbon stainless steel clip-point blade measuring 76 mm and an overall open length of 178 mm. Closed it measures 104 mm and weighs 74 g: it sits flat in a pocket without bulk or unnecessary weight, making it a practical everyday carry for field use, hunting or hiking.

The stainless steel frame serves directly as the handle and locking mechanism: the frame-lock secures the blade in the open position by bearing against the blade itself, with no additional moving parts. This construction keeps weight to a minimum and provides a firm grip, but it also means the handle offers no thermal insulation — in cold conditions the metal chills quickly. One-handed opening is aided by a thumb stud on the blade spine, usable with either hand.

The plain (fine edge) blade is the easier variant to sharpen in the field: a ceramic rod or a flat stone will restore a working edge without specialist tools. For this reason the Paraframe I in fine edge trim works well as a general-purpose work knife — cutting cord, food preparation, whittling — where versatility matters more than cutting synthetic textile or paracord, tasks where a serrated edge would perform better.
