Helikon-Tex BDU trousers in 100% cotton ripstop replicate the American military Battle Dress Uniform cut, with six pockets and structural reinforcements at the highest-wear areas. The straight fit and adjustable waist make them suitable for extended operational sessions, hunting, and training use.
The 100% cotton ripstop fabric offers greater tear resistance than plain cotton thanks to its grid weave, which stops tears from spreading: the fabric gives locally without compromising the rest of the panel. Choosing 100% cotton means better natural breathability than synthetic blends, at the cost of lower moisture resistance: in humid environments they dry more slowly than mixed or technical fabrics, but remain cooler in hot weather and dry-heat conditions.
The two side cargo pockets provide volume for support gear, maps, or field accessories. The double-layer knee allows the insertion of optional protective pads and increases abrasion resistance when moving on hard surfaces.
