The anti-fog coating extends clear vision during intense physical activity, when body heat tends to cause condensation on the inner lens surface. The anti-scratch coating protects the lens from accidental contact with vegetation and equipment — and, particularly in airsoft, from BBs that strike the peripheral area of the field of view.
