The SSR249 is an M249-inspired AEG light machine gun for airsoft, built for players who want to keep their squad in the fight with sustained suppressive fire. The magazine feeding system runs on 9 V (battery not included) and uses sound-activated control: built-in microphones detect the sound of each shot and automatically advance BBs into the chamber, removing the need to wind between bursts. With an 11.1 V LiPo battery, the rate of fire reaches 20 rounds per second — enough to keep pressure on defended positions. The steel body and top RIS rail make the platform solid and ready to mount a red dot or compact optic, while the 14 mm CCW thread on the outer barrel accepts a suppressor or tracer unit.

The CNC aluminium handguard with M-LOK on the upper panel, styled after a heat shield, has room for a Crane-format battery secured with the included velcro strap. The ideal battery dimensions are 130x20x10 mm per cell, though other configurations will also fit. The folding PARA stock reduces overall length for vehicle operations or confined spaces, and the steel sling mounts hold up to hard use without giving way.
