NOVRITSCH SSP18 CO2 GBB Airsoft Pistol — Black

The SSP18 is a CO2-powered gas blowback (GBB) airsoft pistol designed by NOVRITSCH for dynamic field use. Weighing 450 g without magazine and fitted with a precision inner barrel of 115 mm with a 6.01 mm bore stabilised by an O-ring, it works as a reliable sidearm or as a primary in pistol-only games.

The CO2 propulsion system delivers around 1 joule with 0.20 g BBs, and the fire selector switches between semi-automatic and automatic at up to 17 rounds per second. That versatility is a genuine tactical advantage, but it comes with higher gas consumption in automatic mode: players who prioritise magazine endurance over rate of fire will want to keep the selector on semi. The pistol accepts both CO2 and gas magazines, which is useful when one propellant source is not available in the field.

The factory-fitted hop-up rubber is a Maple Leaf unit, compatible with heavier BBs: NOVRITSCH recommends 0.32 g to make full use of the barrel's accuracy. A Picatinny rail on the frame allows fitting a pistol torch, while the threaded barrel accepts suppressors or tracer units. The lightened slide with ejection ports reduces reciprocating mass and improves gas efficiency, but it does require intact seals and valves: NOVRITSCH includes a valve tool in the kit specifically to make routine maintenance straightforward. Enlarged controls — slide stop, safety, extended beavertail and double undercut trigger guard with stippling — improve grip and control even with gloves on.
