The rubber bungee retention system with adjustable tension on both sides allows fast one-handed draws and equally quick re-insertion during play. It's the right choice when reload speed matters: the open top removes every extra step compared to a snap or flap closure. The trade-off is inherent to this design — retention depends entirely on bungee tension, so on rough terrain or in inverted positions the magazine is less secure than it would be in a flap or zip pouch.
