The open-top design with elastic retention is a deliberate trade-off: it gains speed on the draw and on reloads compared to a retention clip or flap system, but provides less security in dynamic positions or when moving over rough terrain. For players who move aggressively and prioritise speed over passive retention, the compromise is often worth it; those who spend a lot of time crawling or make sudden movements may prefer a more positive closure.

The MOLLE/PALS attachment makes it compatible with plate carriers, chest rigs and belts that follow the standard, giving flexibility when configuring a loadout. ACP Tropic is the only colour variant available for this item.
