Helikon-Tex MCDU NYCO MultiCam Trousers

The Helikon-Tex MCDU NYCO trousers are tactical trousers made from NyCo fabric — a nylon-cotton blend — available in MultiCam, designed for dynamic shooters, hunters and operators who need a durable and comfortable garment during extended field use. The cut draws from 1950s parachutist trouser geometry, with a fit engineered for freedom of movement under load.

NyCo combines nylon's abrasion resistance with cotton's breathability and softness. On its own, however, it would not hold up at the highest-stress points: the knees and seat are therefore reinforced with Cordura 500D, which offers significantly greater resistance to wear from contact with hard surfaces. Versastretch panels at the waist, groin and back of the knee resolve the classic trade-off between durability and mobility: where the main fabric is stiffer and more hardwearing, the Versastretch gives in the direction of movement and dries faster, preventing moisture from building up precisely where the trousers are working hardest.

The closure combines a dry zip with a traditional metal zip, and the belt loops accept belts up to 40 mm wide, compatible with most tactical belt systems. The front cargo pockets are accessed via flap zip, while side and rear pockets complete the storage layout. Mesh panels between the pockets promote airflow towards the interior, reducing heat build-up in covered areas. The dedicated knee pad pocket keeps the trousers compatible with most aftermarket knee pads, holding them in place without shifting during movement.
