Helikon-Tex Map Case Admin Pouch — Olive Green

The Helikon-Tex Map Case is a compact admin pouch designed for fieldwork involving maps, documents and small navigation tools. The main body in Cordura® 500D provides high abrasion resistance while keeping weight down, and is sized to fold in half and clip onto your kit when not in use.

The core of the pouch is the zipped internal compartment with a transparent window: the map stays readable without removing it and is protected from moisture. Two external pockets with press-stud closures add room for flat items — documents, notepads, operational ID cards — with enough retention for movement while remaining one-hand accessible. The two open-top pockets on the upper section and the side pen or marker loops complete the organisation: the open-top design gives immediate access, but it does mean that if the pouch is inverted the contents are not retained — worth considering if it is mounted vertically on a chest rig or belt.

When not in use, the Map Case folds in half and closes with a press stud, reducing bulk without needing to be removed from your equipment. It is a solution aimed at land navigation and operational document management, where readability and speed of access matter more than a watertight seal.
