MAGPUL MS3 GEN2 Multi-Mission Sling — Coyote

The MAGPUL MS3 Multi-Mission Sling System is a convertible sling for airsoft replicas, switching between single-point and two-point configurations. It is designed for players who need a carry solution that adapts quickly to changing phases of play. The nylon webbing is 32 mm wide and has been lengthened compared to the previous generation to accommodate different body types and bulky load-bearing equipment.

Switching from single-point to two-point is a one-handed operation that does not require removing the replica from the ready position. This is the core trade-off of the MS3: single-point allows free lateral movement and makes close-quarters transitions easier, but gives less control over the replica when at rest and lets it swing against the body. Two-point distributes the weight more evenly, keeps the replica stable during long movements, but limits rotational freedom. Having both options in a single sling means accepting a slightly more complex mechanism than a dedicated single-configuration sling; the benefit is not having to swap gear when the scenario changes.

The GEN2 low-profile adjustment buckle allows the sling to be loosened or tightened quickly and silently, with less bulk than the previous generation. Metal components are hardened steel; polymer parts are built to withstand repeated heavy use. The Coyote version features NIR (Near Infrared) treatment on the coloured webbing, reducing its infrared signature under infrared illumination.
