The DAKA Small Lite Pouch is a lightweight, packable pouch from Magpul's DAKA line, designed for those who carry only what they need in the field or while travelling and want to keep weight to a minimum. The 70D TPU-coated nylon makes it water-resistant while keeping the structure flexible enough to fold flat when empty, taking up no meaningful space in a pack.

The construction is RF-welded rather than sewn: the seams have no needle holes, so water and dust find no way in even under pressure. The YKK® AquaGuard® zipper follows the same logic: the slider runs smoothly even with gloves on, and the injection-moulded pull gives a firm grip in demanding conditions. Compared to a standard open zip, the AquaGuard adds a physical barrier against moisture ingress without requiring any extra steps to open.

The pouch has no MOLLE system: attachment is handled by the integrated carabiner clip points, suitable for connecting to pack loops, internal bag loops or equipment rings. This keeps weight to a minimum and allows instant retrieval, but it does mean the pouch cannot be mounted on a plate carrier or chest rig in a modular way. Anyone needing retention on a MOLLE vest should look at the standard DAKA version.
