The FMA E-Lite is a personal identification module with red light, designed for visual marking in low-light conditions. The flat silicone body measures approximately 100x30x10 mm and weighs 30 g, making it compatible with direct attachment to a helmet, tactical vest or clothing without adding any noticeable bulk.
The flexible silicone construction is not just a weight-saving choice: it allows the device to conform to the curved surfaces of a MICH or ACH helmet without creating protruding edges — a relevant consideration in operations involving parachute jumps or movement in confined spaces. Attachment is via hook-and-loop on any compatible surface, or by threading through PALS webbing on your kit, with no tools and in a matter of seconds.
The E-Lite offers two operating modes — steady and flashing — with a stated battery life of 120 hours on steady mode from a single 3 V CR2032 battery. This is worth noting in an operational context: a standard, widely available battery covers extended use without requiring a close-interval swap. Water and shock resistance make it suitable for use in adverse weather, though it should be treated as a low-output identification marker rather than an operational torch: the light output is calibrated for short-range visibility, not for illuminating an area.
