The frame holds prescription lenses ground by an optician and clips inside the V2G shell, maintaining optical correction without sacrificing protection.

The prescription insert concept involves one necessary step: the frame does not include ophthalmic lenses, which must be ordered separately from an optician using your own prescription. Once fitted, the insert snaps into place inside the goggles, providing integrated protection with no need to wear prescription glasses underneath. This eliminates the problem of temple arms pressing under straps and improves the lateral seal of the goggle.

The metal construction provides greater dimensional rigidity than plastic frames: it maintains the correct interpupillary distance even after repeated assembly and disassembly, and is less prone to distortion from heat or pressure.
