Kicking Mustang KMCS Ghillie Leafs Camouflage Leaves — Dark Colours

The KMCS Ghillie Leafs are lightweight synthetic camouflage leaves designed to build out and customise ghillie suits, helmet covers, weapon kits and any other gear requiring visual concealment in woodland or dense-vegetation environments. Each pack contains leaves in a range of shapes and sizes, in three dark shades of brown and green, together with 100 zip ties for direct attachment to netting or ghillie frames.

The three-tone mix — dark brown, olive green and deep green — replicates the natural colour variation of woodland undergrowth in autumn or in low-light conditions, where uniform tones give away a human presence far more readily than irregular variation does. The mix of shapes and sizes allows leaves to be layered in a non-geometric pattern, breaking up the sharp outlines that the human eye instinctively reads as artificial.

The material is treated to be opaque in the infrared spectrum, meaning the leaves do not reflect IR light anomalously when viewed through night-vision devices. Operators working in environments where the opposition has NVG therefore get effective concealment both day and night. It is worth noting, however, that IR invisibility also depends on how the leaves are applied: layering them in overlapping, irregular arrangements with no exposed substrate showing through matters as much as the material itself.
