Kicking Mustang KMCS Ghillie Grass Raffia — Green

Kicking Mustang KMCS Ghillie Grass is a pre-dyed natural raffia ready to use for building up or improving the camouflage of ghillie suits, packs, rifles and any field equipment. Each pack contains between 40 and 50 g of raffia that has already been combed and coloured, in the Green shade designed for environments with live vegetation or during the spring-to-summer transition.

The raffia replicates the texture of dry grass and fine twigs, breaking the hard edges that make a silhouette recognisable in open ground or sparse vegetation. Compared to synthetic fibres, natural raffia moves more organically in the wind and interacts with light less uniformly, reducing the risk of flat reflections and bright spots on the finished suit. The colour is applied during production: no additional dyeing is required and the material can be worked with immediately, with no drying time.

The length of each tuft is adjustable at your discretion: cutting to 10–20 cm produces a short, dense grass effect, while longer lengths simulate taller vegetation or scrub. Working with varied lengths within the same area and combining different shades — for example mixing this Green with darker or lighter raffia — adds three-dimensionality to the result. Attachment is done with 2.5 mm cable ties threaded through the suit's netting or fabric; the ties are not included in the pack and must be sourced separately.
