The KMCS Complete is a base kit for anyone who wants to build a custom ghillie suit for airsoft in woodland and deciduous environments. The system includes a jacket, trousers and universal hood made from a polyester-cotton mesh fabric, with attachment points distributed across the entire surface for adding natural or artificial vegetation as desired, using 2.5 mm cordage (not included).
The jacket features a generous hood with a wire-stiffened brim and adjustable sizing, plus extended cuffs with thumb loops: this detail prevents the sleeves from riding up during low crawls, keeping coverage intact even during more dynamic movement. The trousers have extended leg flaps that reach down over the boots, held in place by elastic loops that stop the fabric bunching during crawling. The universal hood is sized to cover optics as well when aiming, reducing reflections and the overall equipment profile.
The mesh fabric with KMCS Fairy Dust treatment is designed to accept camouflage material in successive layers: those who want immediate coverage can add camo netting or artificial leaves with pins; those who prefer a more refined result can work the suit over time, tailoring it to a specific environment. The trade-off to consider is this: a build-your-own ghillie suit takes time and additional materials, but allows a level of customisation that a pre-made suit simply cannot match — both in vegetation density and in colour palette, which can be adapted season by season. The kit is available in two sizes.
