Kicking Mustang KMCS Cloak Next-Gen Brown Camo Cape

The KMCS Cloak is a hooded camouflage cape made by Kicking Mustang for spotters, designated marksmen and operators who need three-dimensional concealment without giving up fast access to their kit. It covers the arms, shoulders and the entire back while leaving magazine pouches on a plate carrier or chest rig fully accessible.

The base fabric is a polyester-cotton blend treated with KMCS Magic Dust compound, which reduces light reflection and makes the wearer's outline hard to distinguish from surrounding vegetation. The three-dimensional leaves in Next-Gen configuration visually replicate the layered texture of undergrowth: their irregular geometry breaks up the human silhouette even at close range. The Next-Gen Brown pattern is calibrated for woodland environments in autumn transition, where green gives way to ochre, brown tones and dry leaves. The leaf strips allow real foliage or artificial material to be added to match the specific environment on the day — this flexibility is the main advantage over a fixed system, but it does require a few minutes of preparation before taking up a position.

The oversized hood is compatible with helmet use and can partially cover the front objective of a riflescope in a prone shooting position, reducing the visual signature of the optic. In the prone position the cape covers the operator's entire silhouette. Seams are reinforced to hold up under demanding conditions. This is not a garment designed for dynamic movement: its primary function is static or semi-static use, where concealment matters more than freedom of movement.
