The Kicking Mustang Base Mesh is an open-weave camo net made from the same material used in the KMCS ghillie suit line. Measuring 150 x 100 cm (with a ±5 cm tolerance due to printing and cutting processes), it is designed for anyone looking to build or customise their own camouflage system: rifle wrapping, covering optical equipment, or adapting existing gear components.
The open-weave construction keeps weight low and allows air to circulate freely — two qualities that matter when carrying gear for extended periods in a hide or on the move. The open structure breaks up the visual outline of rigid surfaces, while the low weight avoids adding unnecessary bulk to already loaded setups. The Next-Gen Green colour is calibrated for environments with dense green vegetation, typical of woodland and wetland areas in spring and summer.
Compared to a solid-fabric camo wrap, the open mesh allows airflow and conforms more easily to the irregular shapes of equipment, though it provides less coverage in situations where a compact surface is needed. When used for rifle wrapping, it breaks up the silhouette without adding weight or obstructing controls.
Key points
- Size 150 x 100 cm: sufficient to cover a full-length rifle or multiple pieces of gear in a single section.
- Same material as KMCS ghillie suits: visually and structurally compatible with the entire line for those building a coordinated system.
- Breathable open weave: reduces heat build-up on covered equipment and does not retain moisture.
- Versatile for DIY applications: cuts and knots without fraying, suitable for wrapping barrels, optics and pack surfaces.
- Next-Gen Green palette optimised for woodland environments and dense green vegetation.
