The Helikon-Tex Impact Duty Winter Mk2 gloves are designed for anyone who needs to keep their hands fully operational in cold conditions without giving up feel and control on a rifle or pistol. The Thinsulate 3M insulation provides thermal retention without adding enough bulk to interfere with weapon controls.

Thinsulate 3M retains heat by trapping air in a thin layer, which means the glove stays manageable around safety controls, fire selectors and the trigger — areas where wool or fleece adds unwanted thickness. The anti-slip coating on the palm and fingers increases friction on the stock and grip even in wet conditions, reducing the risk of losing your hold during reloads or magazine changes.

The adjustable wrist closure lets you cinch the glove tightly against the cuff to cut out cold air drafts, or loosen it to put the glove on and take it off one-handed. This is a trade-off worth keeping in mind: the wrist adjustment improves thermal comfort and donning speed, but it is not a watertight seal — in heavy rain or when working with a hand submerged in water, protection is limited to the water-repellent treatment of the outer shell, not full waterproofing.
