Viper Tactical VX Utility Hook

The VX Utility Hook is an accessory hook compatible with the Viper Tactical VX modular system. It attaches to any hook-and-loop surface via an integrated velcro panel and allows you to hang gloves, glow sticks, keys or small tools directly on your gear, without taking up pockets or MOLLE real estate.

The carabiner is metal: it holds its shape under sustained use and won't open accidentally under lateral load. The velcro attachment lets you reposition the hook in seconds on any hook-and-loop panel — from a vest shoulder to a pack lid — with no tools and no modifications to the base material. The trade-off to consider: velcro gives you a lot of flexibility in placement, but holds less than a MOLLE attachment under sustained vertical load. For light items and frequent access it's the most practical option; for heavier items or anything subject to sharp pulls, a pouch with a mechanical attachment system is the better choice.

The body is made from 700D technical polyester, the same fabric used throughout the VX range: the weight ensures the velcro panel stays rigid and retains its shape even after many attach-and-detach cycles.
