Helikon-Tex Mosquito Net Head — Green

The Helikon-Tex Mosquito Net Head is a lightweight polyester mesh head net designed for extended time outdoors in insect-heavy environments: hunters on a stand, hikers, and operators working in woodland or wetland areas. It fits directly over the head or over a hat, covering the face and neck without restricting the field of view.

The mesh is made from 100% polyester, combining low weight with breathability: heat does not build up under the net even in humid conditions, making it comfortable to wear all day. The trade-off is the one common to any fine-mesh insect net: ventilation is good, but mesh tight enough to stop small insects does reduce airflow slightly compared to a coarser weave. In high-density mosquito or midge environments, however, that geometry is exactly what is needed.

The lower edge features an adjustable drawstring that seals the net around the neck. This prevents insects from getting in from below even during movement, unlike open-hem versions that can gap in wind or brush. Wearing it over the head or a hat gives a stable fit without any additional support structure.
